Teaching Studio
I teach the student not the method. I am sensitive to each student's unique interests and way of learning. I am an extremely dedicated and passionate music educator. From pedagogical publications and educational compositions/arrangements, to Suzuki group classes, adult education, and two annual student recitals; I take my teaching seriously. Patience, compassion, and inspiration are essential in my approach to teaching and key in helping my students achieve their full potential.

Classical Guitar
I have been teaching guitar for close to 25 years. I hold Associate, Bachelor's, and Master's degrees in Classical Guitar Performance. I have studied with some of the finest performers and pedagogues in the world of classical guitar, including Ricardo Iznaola and the Castellani-Andriaccio Duo.

Suzuki Guitar
I was the first Suzuki Certified Guitar Instructor in Maine and have over 15 years of Suzuki teaching experience. I founded and continue to direct the Guitar program at the New England Suzuki Institute. I am not only a Suzuki teacher but I was also a Suzuki violin student from ages four to eleven. I integrate Suzuki methodology with other innovative and traditional pedagogical approaches to offer my students a complete and balanced music education.

A Teacher for Everyone
I teach in all styles and have experience performing Classical, Traditional Ethnic Music, Rock, Jazz, Folk, and Popular Music. I have directed Summer Rock Camps and taught classes on everything from The Beatles, Improvisation, World Music, and the Blues. My experience is broad and well informed.
